四.学法引导

  1.教师教法:利用课前准备好的全家放大照片让学生看,导出句型What’s this?It’s a picture of my family. Can I see it? OK.然后让学生拿出自己准备好的全家照片进行操练。

  利用准备好的Jim’s Family Tree图表投影片,边指图表边示范介绍表示家庭成员关系的生词:family brother sister father mother son daughter mum dad grandfather grandmother wife husband. 并在此过程中介绍名词所有格、,然后引导学生进行操练。

  提出问题,让学生带着问题听录音听力材料,直至解决问题。

  2.学生学法:首先,要熟读课文,理解课文的意思,将表示家庭成员的单词记熟。通过了解Jim家的情况,用英语介绍一下你和你的好朋友的家,并画出family tree,注意要写清人和人之间的关系。

五.教具

  全家放大照片,Jim’s Family Tree图表投影片、录音机及听力训练磁带、图片。

六.教学过程

Step l  Revision

  1.Free talk

  以Can you see…?为题,两人一组对话1分钟,然后抽查2-3组学生进行表演。

  2.做游戏

  让学生就上个单元内容进行自由练习。

  3.教师问一名学生Where’s my picture?Can you see it?学生答Yes,I can.It’s…直至找到。教师向学生展示自己的全家放大照片,并示范说:“It’s a picture of my family.” “Please  come and meet the family.”Today we’ll learn Unit 9 Come and meet the family(板书Unit 9 Come and meet the family. Lesson 33)

Step 2 Presentation

  1.教师接着向学生展示刚才找到的全家放大照片,自问自答:What’s this?It’s a picture of my family.(板书family),再重复说一遍,然后领读.(板书a picture of…)

  2.让学生拿出自己带来的全家照片,教师走近两名学生,指着他(她)的照片进行问答?

  T:What’s this?

  S:It’s a picture of my family.

  T:(to class) Look! It’s a picture of her/ his family. Here you are.

  S:Thank you.

  3.师生问答,引导出句子(自问自答):

  Who is this?

  This is my grandfather.

  Who is this?

  This is my grandfather/ grandmother. / father/ mother/ brother/ sister…(边说边板书)。

Step 3 Presentation

  1.教师出示Jim’s Family Tree投影片。

  2.教师指图解释。

  Look at the picture. This is Jim’s family tree. Come and meet the family, please. This is Mr.      Green. This is Mrs. Green. Mr. Green is Mrs. Green’s husband and Mrs. Green is Mr. Green’s wife.     They have a son and a daughter. Jim is their son. Kate is their daughter. Mr. Green is their father. Mrs. Green is their mother. They call Mr. Green dad and call Mrs. Green mum. Kate is Jim’s sister. Jim is Kate’s brother. And they have grandfather and grandmother. 边解释边领读生词brother sister father dad mother mum son daughter grandfather grandmother wife husband,并解释说明词尾er读[  ](板书),然后让学生一组一组的齐读father and mother, brother and sister,     son and daughter, dad and mum. Step 4 Drill

  1. Back chain drill 让学生跟老师重复做练习。

  2. 指图进行问答练习。

  T: What’s the name of Jim’s sister / father"?

  A: Kate / Mr. Green…

  T: What’s the name of Mr. Green’s son/daughter?

  B: Jim /Kate

Step 5 Practice and read

  1. 让学生上前指图说明Jim一家各成员之间的关系。

  2. 两人一组就Jim’s Family Tree中各成员之间的关系与姓名进行问答。

  3. 看课文第一部分Listen and learn. 并完成Lesson 33 Ex 2.

Step 6 Read

  1  教师先提出问题

  (1) How old is Kate? What’s the name of her mother?

  (2) Who has a big family? (解释has的用法)

  让学生听清问题,然后带着问题听录音材料。

  2. 让学生读两遍,然后回答问题,可齐答,也可抽查。然后再放一遍录音,最后公布答案Kate is eight. Her mother’s name is Helen Green. Jim Green has a big family.

  附听力材料:

  Li Lei: Who’s that?

  Jim: He’s my father.

  U Lei: Who’s that?

  Jim: She’s my mother.

  Li Lei: And is that your sister?

  Jim: Yes, that’s right.

  Li Lei: What’s her name?

  Jim: Kate.

  Li Lei: How old is she?

  Jim: She’s eight.

Step 7 Consolidation (2 mins)

  I.将下列短语译成英文

Step 8 Workbook (3 mins)

  1.Do Ex. 3, 给学生1分钟时间填写,然后让个体说出答案,拼写单词,集体订正。

  2.Do Ex. 4, 让学生根据自己实际情况写。

Step 9 Summary (2 mins)

  让学生总结出本课所学知识要点,Jim’s brother等名词所有格,father, mother等生词。

听写下列句子。

  A: What’s that?

  B: It’s a picture of my family.

  A: What’s the name of your brother.

  B: Jim.

Step 10 Homework (1 min)

  1.表演本课对话。

  2.背写本课单词。

  3.书面完成Workbook Ex. 3.
