need作为情态动词仅用于否定句或疑问句;
用情态动词must提问时, 否定回答用needn’t ;

need作为实意动词有它作为动词的多种形式, 可以用于各种
句型之中, 表示不同的意义.
实际上need较多地用于实意动词, 较少用于情态动词.
