read the first sentence of each paragraph before reading .
2. Read the title ,which gives an indication of the content of the reading .Think of one question
they think might be answered in the reading .

4. Ask Ss to read the story out to the class .
5. Ask Ss to comment on whether their questions in the previewing stage were answered .
